All of our workshops are centered around exploring different ways of story-telling and for kids aged anywhere from five to eighteen years old.
Engaging With Music
Facilitated in three local community learning centers in Kuala Lumpur in June 2024
Engaging in Music workshops is centered around the idea of feeling music in your whole body. Participants will play around with the boundaries of sound and composition. By the end of the workshop, students will have basic ideas of music composition and the musical elements of storytelling.
At The Moment
Facilitated in three local community learning centers in Kuala Lumpur in June 2024
The At The Moment invites participants to explore physical theater techniques. A combination of warmups, games, and improvisation, this workshop aims at community building, boosting self-confidence, and exploring a less verbal form of storytelling. Adjusted to different age groups, the participants are invited to have some "play time" with us, while being introduced to some fundamental concepts of physical theater.
In Your Own Words
Facilitated in three local community learning centers in Kuala Lumpur in June 2024
The In your Own Words workshop uses podcasts as a medium for storytelling. Participants are invited to explore the concept of narration, and the different uses of sound. Can we see a sound? Sometimes, we can! By the end of the workshop, participants will have acquired basic recording, and editing skills, being introduced to how we tell a story, and collaborating on making a small podcast.
